Technology in the background
At the beginning of the last century, Louis Comfort Tiffany invented the technique that made it possible to create much more detailed patterns compared to church stained glass windows. He created lampshades, window inserts, and mosaics, which spread the use of colored glass in home decoration.
Unfortunately, the rapidly spreading mass production and then the economic crisis pushed this noble technique out of interior design. So much so that nowadays they don't even teach technique in vocational art courses.
However, glass made with newer technologies and colored in its material can conjure up an orgy of color and light in our buildings that we could not even imagine until now.
